At Roam & Harbor, we believe the best adventures begin where the pavement ends and the water meets the horizon.

Founded by husband-and-wife team James and Kelsey Coursey.  Roam & Harbor was built from a lifelong passion for boating, camping, fishing, and the outdoors. Having both grown up on Maryland's Eastern Shore, we spent our childhoods surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay, learning firsthand what it means to live an outdoor lifestyle. Whether it was days spent on the water, weekends at the campground, or time with family enjoying nature, those experiences continue to shape who we are today.

Our passion extends beyond recreation—it's also our profession.

Kelsey brings more than a decade of experience in the marine insurance industry, working closely with boat owners and understanding the products, equipment, and safety considerations that matter most. Her experience provides valuable insight into the needs of recreational boaters and helps guide the products we choose to offer.

James has built his career as a diesel mechanic servicing luxury yacht for some of the industry's leading yacht companies. His hands-on experience maintaining and repairing high-performance marine engines has given him an expert understanding of the quality, durability, and reliability that boat owners expect from the equipment they purchase.

When we're not working, you'll usually find us at our mountain home in West Virginia, where we enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and exploring the outdoors with family and friends. Living between the Chesapeake Bay and the mountains has given us a deep appreciation for both life on the water and life off the grid.

That combination of personal experience and professional expertise is what inspired Roam & Harbor.
